Salmon river week report

Left last wknd for our annual trip up to the river for the week, pulled up to fat nancys and just what i expected salmon season and weeken so tons of people. Well we started out down low as low as we could go my buddy a first timer lookin to pop his cherry and me lookin for the steel as always lol, so we fished few salmon here and there i mean a trickle not any kind of run at all ( we did en up fighting and landin a couple)well all up until wed the salmon were scares and steel and browns not to be found, so thurs mrng we woke up in search get down to the river and shit hit the fan all the kings u could want and the start of the major run was runnin up the river , sore arms and smiles since then we did manage to pick at some steel up throughout the week but def not as many as there should be for this time of year and didnt show up til a about fri mrng my self and my brother duck or bleed jimmy live bait and my dad all had least one or two steelies but with these fish fresh alot people and low water for them to run u under the rocks only ended up landing a few. Just a few highlights of the trip was jimmy live bait outfishin the boyz landing three steelies ( which dont happen often so dont get used to it jim lol j/k) my buddy alex ( rookie ) landing his first couple kings myself with my p.b. 10.8 brown trout see ya guys at the meet and greet fish on![IMG]http://i1300.photobucket.com/albums/ag82/fvkathyk/8FB1E05F-5198-4
