Hit my fav spot for a few early hours w my buddy Anthony (jackstraw) on sat. Ive been sick since thurs but I always feel better fishing lol. Anyway tuff conditions for what we wanted to do, bluebird skies and glass water most of the morn. Setup a 6 line spread trollin w planer boards pulling cranks and bottom bouncing. Had our first eyeball as we were setting line 2 in the water within 2 minutes of being on the water had me thinkin we were gonna kill it. Got rly quiet for a while, and we had ALOT of short strikes w fish nippin and missin both cranks and worm harnesses. Picked up a couple smallies here and there but didnt produce like I hoped. Fish were down deep, we were tickin the bottom most of the day and came up with a few.........pics to prove we got something in the boat haha....
