Default Went Fluking, got drummed.

We left the back of the bay bright an early for the long run outside. Wanted to fish the ocean to beat the heat inside. It turned out to be the wrong move as the ocean bite was picky at best for us, only managing 4 keepers, with plenty of shorts. On the way back in we noticed some bird play a couple hundred yds off the beach, thought they were blues. Turned out to be a huge school of black drum (30-60lb class). We casted jigs and topwater at them and instantly hooked up, snagged i assume. After a 20 minute battle on lite tackle, we landed, took pics and released two fish. Remind me not to mess around with huge black drum using lite tackle.
