Senko Surprise
Got out this morning with a buddy in the yaks for some Bass and Pike fishing on a gorgeous morning. Had slow pickings with the bluebird skies but ended up with a few of each. My buddy started with a nice mid-30's Pike on a smaller husky jerk, leader touch and "yakmens" release. He then hooked up with a few nice LMB's, largest going 3lbs3oz on the digital scale. After chucking spinnerbaits all day with no luck, I went light action Senko tossing for Bass and nailed a surprise Pike. My only fish of the day, but fun and kicked my butt on 6lb Nanofil. Summer is here, saw water temps in the mid to high 70's!
