Polelock? is there any way or interest within the club to urge ppl to catch and release in the brown/rainbow division?

I understand that most if not all want to get the lake trout population under control- but the browns and rainbows have little chance of growing to sizes consistent with the 1980'and 90's if there is little c&r....

I see the numbers of lunkers put in every yr. and the amount of them that are caught and released is very small....It seems that if the lunker trout that are put in on a given yr. are not caught that yr, then they are caught and kept within the next yr....Just not much growing time imho....

I know you can't MAKE ppl put back legal fish but i imagine that the club could urge ppl to do so- at least for tournies....Just a thought, good luck to all that enter
