My wife and I spent last week in NH fishing 3 days on a 12 man boat and had a blast. Cloudy and cool weather made for some of the best Cod/Pollack and haddock fishing I ever saw. The ledge was loaded with haddock with tons in the 18-20" size. with the new 21" size there were not as many keepers but the ones over 21" where real bulls 5 - 10lb .
I jigged all 3 days and limited out on Cod 2 days and came close the last, Pollack where every where and at times 100' thick. We had to remove the teasers or you had triples every time when they where like this.
The Pollack fishing was like fall only better with most in the 12-15lb size
My best Cod was 17.5 lbs and my biggest Pollack was 17 lbs, my wife Dolores had to top me on the last day of the last hour and land a nice 21 lb Cod . Got to fish with a few people we fish with in NJ and that made the trip.
