Weekend on the water

Put some time on the water this weekend with a few trips.
Kicked things off with Scott in the streams to learn some techniques for trout fishing. Got the hang of the drifting and he went to work catching a bunch of your normal stockies a few different ways. Next up was Gary and his buddy Anthony for strolling trip on the valley. Lakers and rainbows were on the menu for these guys. Took us a while to get but but finally got to a section of lake with a lot of fish rising to the surface and we started getting the bites we needed. Plenty of state stickers in the mix at different depths and lakers also. The guys kept a few of the lakers we got for dinner and a nice rainbow. Finished the weekend up with Celeste who is new to fishing and trout fishing and wanted some lessons. Looked over and went through some of her gear and gave her some pointers, showed her some different rigs and techniques and put them to the test. It didn’t take long and she was on them.
