Thumbs up Friday Fluking and more! 7-28-17

Took a ride down the beach to the SHR area. Water was calm with little wind. I decided to fish some different #'s today in search of Triggers ...Sea Bass and Fluke. Bought some salted clams and hammered Sea Bass up to 4lbs and also some Blackfish. Once I got my limit of biscuits and tog I decided to jig for Fluke. Caught many in the 15-17" range and one keeper. Also lost a jumbo fluke which at first I thought I was snagged till it started shaking it's head.... looks like the knot I tied could have been better! (You know the story..the one that got away!) The surprise of the day was a Bonita that hit a 007 and gave me a great fight. All in all a decent day! Tight lines!
