4-20-16 Evening. Raritan Bay Stripers

Pulled out of Keyport 5pm on my friend Bobs boat "Makaylie Rose" for a quick after work trip in Raritan Bay. Bob wanted to try out his new Rock Fish Candy umbrellas, 4 arms with 1- 6" teaser shad on each with no hook and a 9" double hook shad on a leader down the center. We pulled in a nice 20lb Striper then had a few hits with a short fight and then they let go most likely on the teaser shads. Then we landed a short 26" Striper. Some bigger fish were being trolled up and chunked by friends on other boats in the same area. Nice evening trip with little boat traffic and very quite Vhf noise that is unbearable on the weekends.
