It is unfair and hard to believe but that is the way it is under this regional plan, the states that exceed their targets are rewarded while the states that under fish their target are penalized. I can only imagine how the regional fluke plan is going to work out.

First and foremost I am not making this a NY vs NJ argument, just pointing out facts and trying to get the record straight.

Paul with all due respect, you word this as if NY is the big bad wolf in all of this. CT shouldn't even be with us and the coast wide regulations.

Let me make this clear, I loathe playing on words, and hiding facts like, NJ had the lions share of the creel and size limit, while NY had less than it's fair share for over 10 years with all species of fish.

You post that NY went over 125%, well if NY had the share you in NJ had, we would never go over because we imposed way stricter regulations than NJ ever did or will of it's own free will, no they need to be forced to. NJ would have went way over with the regulations you set for yourselves if you had what NY had the last 10+ years.

Now You and all the others are crying foul when NY finally catches a break and you use your words in a way to say that NY is the problem, and you wish it was status quo?

Just so you know for years i have been saying NY and NJ should come together and fight together, but the NJ mentality was screw everyone else as long as we get ours, well you reap what you sew.

Now I still think instead of doing what you think is best for yourselves, you should open your eyes and start teaming up because this game they are playing is to take us all out.

You know what's happening and has happened in Cali, and the same thing is trying to be done in Mass. Don't think for a second that it won't happen here in our waters, because it can and will.
