Default Re: Party boat albies?

The Cock Robin encourages you to fish for albies...plus plenty of room on that boat to go up and down. The boats that are 100'+++ just get too damn railed for everyone to move around and def don't have enough room on the side of the boat, plus (in my opinion) the anglers are not as good on those boats and will not make room for you when you are coming down the rail....never had that problem on the CR with over crowding or too many drunk idiots like I have on the larger boats. Most of the anglers are not new to the game on the CR, and will have a light rod for albies and heavier rod for blues. The professional mates are extremely helpful in getting you around and making room if you need to go up or down the boat with the Albie. Last year they were even selling the plastic tsunamis on board in multiple colors based on what the albies wanted that day/week.
Smaller boats are easier to navigate...and come with less lines in the water which means less tangles.

With blues here and stripers right behind not sure if you will see any special albie trips...but you never know.
