Fish poison Tile Rod!!

Sorry for the long delay

I finally did get out on a tilefish trip on the Voyager last week and got to use the rod Kevin built for me last fall. I paired the 7' rod with my Avet LX and had a good time reeling up the fish. We used 3# for most of the trip, and the rod managed the weight of the sinker and 18# fish with no problems at all. A great value for the rod, and much better than using a short heavy tuna rod!!!
