Default echo reservoir

Hit echo yesterday first time in 2 years. What happened to all the weeds. Trash barrel at ramp and in parking lot looked like there was a monster keg party the night before. 100s of beer cans. We chipped away at some smallies and largemouth, some pretty huge sunnys. Windy as hell, but ended up with a few good fish. Anyone know what happened to all the weeds? It was way way less weedy than I remembered.
Enjoy the day.

I am pretty sure they rotate weed control between the reservoirs. In years past, Canistear has been almost barren of weeds. The last time I was there in May, the weeds were very thick and healthy.
