Default Oak Ridge Reservoir

Drove by Oak Ridge today, it’s still completely dried up except for a few puddles.
No fishing there this year, I can’t see how any fish survived.

Was this planned maintenance if they even do that for reservoirs and if it was why was the water taken down so low.

If not planned maintenance, what caused it to be so low? Lakes with residential homes plan maintenance all the time without significant or any fish kills at all, why would this be any different? Is it just Oak Ridge that's effected or are all the watersheds involved?

I thought it has started refilling in the late fall after they repaired the valve. Levels had come up. Did they re-drain it again? Doesnt look good to fish there this season. Already renewed my permit and thats my favorite shed to fish

Looked at pics online last night. Interesting bridge at the bottom of that reservoir?

maybe fish in a barrel at the dam.all those fish have to go where all the water is.the baitfish are going to take a pounding and the gamefish are going to be fat.

Hopefully getting hit pretty good with rain today, hopefully it starts refilling.
I have only hit that place a few times, got a few nice bass but the lake itself is just a beauty to be fishing on. I am more that an hour away in central NJ where most lakes have houses, some of those northern lakes are just so relaxing to be on.

Very cool aerial pictures. Duane what is the time lapse between both pictures?
