Normally YES. But frankly the whole Navesink has truly sucked this year. The worst I've ever seen in the 50 years I've been crabbing down there.

Saw an enormous die off of silver dollar sized crab in the back of the Navesink this summer.

Yikes.. any idea what from?... I always thought blue crabs were pretty tolerant of low oxygen levels.. I mean, if they can live in the Passaic River, they can live just about anywhere..
