Headed back out with Joe Solano and family for another mid shore tuna trip. Forecast was dead on thanks to NOAA but as usual FishWeather was way off…..short story went 0 for 3 on some big fish. Rough all day. Pulled the hook on 2 jumbos boat side. Small fleet did well. Wish we landed them but all were new to offshore fishing had grandfathers to teenagers in some tough conditions. All fish were on bait.

Rough conditions don't make it any easier. Sorry about the heartbreakers Capt. Forecasts have been nutty this season, seems worse than usual but maybe that's just me.

Should be a lesson for novice boat owners. They think mid range no problem??? Think again. Experience and an experienced crew are a must.Go with a pro first and learn before you get in over your head. Other than that i am jealous of the yellowfin reports LOL
