have been checking out some vids and reading a few articles about how and where.i figured if it worked down in florida or the gulf it should work here.went out and got a set up and some jigs.i jumped on a tilefish trip and off i went.we were fishing in like 5-6 hundred ft and was blessed with very little wind and very little current.dropped the 220 gram down and started pitching.it didn't take 5
minutes and i was tight and after a long reel i had a nice 10-11lb golden.it was steady fishing and limited out with out ever using a piece of bait.they were crushing the jig too.it was allot of fun and i can't wait to get back out and try it again. |

Nice Bunker, I love happy endings! How did the bait guys do in comparison?

Glad to hear the new jig setup did its job. If you don’t mind me asking
What rod and reel did you decide on. I’m looking for a setup for the same Purpose. |

rosies and streamer bass were tearing it up |
