Default Great day out of port Canaveral

Once again invited by my good friend on a charter out of port Canaveral. Second time fishing with these guys and they did not disappoint!

six of us left the dock at 7am including my friends 10 year old daughter who did great once again. A real trooper. We steamed about 30 miles south and fished around 18 miles off.

we hammered the large kings again( to 30 lbs). And fought some large jack cravalle. Then the cobia showed up but we could not get a keeper in the boat. Then went sharking. Hooked into a monster bull shark that we fought for over an hour before getting a clean release boatside. Saw turtles, hammerheads porpoise and all in all had a great day.

You must of been by Sebastian Inlet if you went 30 miles South. We trailer and Sebastian is 30 mins and Canaveral an hour. The Kings are in thick and some Wahoo also. The Cobia were close out of Canaveral like one mile. That was last month. This retirement is killing me now i have to go to Louisiana and crush some big Mangrove Snapper and Cobia lol
