Fluking has been tough, but we've had flashes of good fishing. Just can't seem to keep it up consistently only getting out there every 2 weekends or so.
2 trips back we headed to a spot based on some info from a friend just a day before and the area was totally infested with dogs

we hopped around after the dense fog finally started to lift and found some short drift magic picking up a NY sized keeper almost every drift! then we'd hit the dogfish after a few minutes and reset! Filled our two man boat limit that day by 11am and damn did it feel good! Every single keeper was on a high pink squid teaser.
I was away in florida after that (will share those pics once i pull them all off the camera) and we didn't get back on the fluke for a bit and when we did we couldn't find a good bite for crap!
We started off shallow and nabbed on keeper pretty quick, but then nothing...We headed deeper and found a good lay of fish but the weather was much nastier than we anticipated and even with the wind sock, it was tough to get a good bite. we feathered back to nab a few fish but only one keeper in the mix and the weather pushed us back in shallow. There we picked up one more keeper and called it a day with half a limit for two of us
