Yesterday afternoon’s trip was cancelled due to weather. Today was a great day despite the weather, it was very rainy but not too rough on the water. We fished out east of the inlet again, we had a slow beginning but it got better as the day went on and the weather cleared up. We drifted for a while and read plenty of fish, they just didn’t want to cooperate. We anchored up to see if we’d have better luck that way, but it didn’t make much of a difference. The second half of the day, we were able to catch some nice slow drifts and pick from the bottom. We caught a good amount of sea bass with some fluke mixed in. Today’s pool winner was Sailing daily for Stripers & Blues from 7:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. and every afternoon for Fluke & Sea Bass from 4:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. Join us as we bottom fish and mammal watch and then catch the most stunning sunset on the ride home. Bring your friends, family and children. This trip is fun for all ages and a must for everyone! The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. With Miss Belmar’s 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day, and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you’ll see why! Today's pool winner was Nate Rosenblatt from Bristol, PA. ![]()
