As we passed the tip of North Beach, Sandy Hook on the Prowler heading to ocean fishing, a large sailboat was visible on the beach just at the low water line. It was in perfect condition @8AM. When we returned around 2pm, it was gone. No idea what happened to get it to where it was. NO photos taken. It was resting on its left side. It would have been easy to get it back into the water at high tide and assuming that is what happened.

Rammie,
I fished a NS 6 pk out of Leonardo on Sunday and took some pics on that boat. Will try to upload. He was wedged pretty good up on the beach waiting for a tow. Was on a private NS charter today out Atlantic Highlands but didn’t see it as we rounded the Hook. |

I have a pretty good collection of beached boats on Sandy Hook. The channel moves but the nautical GPS maps don't know it.
