Default Manasquan Ridge

Anybody know if there's any action out there?

I haven't heard any reports but it's likely going to start heating up soon with the warmer water temps and hopefully the Bonita show up...

You might want to get out there while you can since it looks like it might be in the slights of the Army Corp of engineers list for beach replenishment sand

By the looks of the party boat reports, no bluefish, no bonito, no false albacore. Maybe in September.

We made a few drifts there about two weeks ago and found lots of small sea bass but not a single fluke. Keep in mind that the draggers often rake those "pieces" or those "used-to-be" pieces. Don't expect much action once they've been through.

I am probably going to try trolling the area for about an hour tomorrow before switching over to bottom. Heard some Bonito taken a little farther out but have to start trying.

Chub macks, maybe you find a small bone in there for every 100 you pull in.
