Not many down today with the forecast but it was a good day on the water. Fished a lot of different areas looking for big fish but found good action but not a lot of keepers. For us bucktailing was best yet bait did produce. Leroy had the pool today after missing 3 weeks from a staff infection which he got from a hook nick.
No Galley Tomorrow Tuesday. BIG POOL OVER $3500 7:00 AM first boat out Thanks captain George |

Got an infection on my left hand same way. On antibiotics but still fishing. Hazards of the hobby I guess.

Was it from a Gamakatsu hook? I know of quite a few fisherman who this happened to using this company's hook. I know it may be just a coincidence but it's not the first time I heard about this. A very good majority of hooks I tie are not from that company. I do tie quite a bit of rigs I Snell 100's of Sea Bass,Porgy & Blackfish hooks a year & stopped using them a few years ago when I heard of a few fisherman who had that same problem.
