Default Long day fluking

Took two old friends from high school out yesterday. Haven't seen either one in years. In fact one lives in Vegas. He flew in on the red eye and came right to the marina from JFK

Got reports from a good friend and board member, so we started where he left off in the bay. Unfortunately it's all about conditions and we didn't have them yesterday. As I said, started in the bay, no love. Started heading up the channel trying every few hundred yards. Before I knew it (four hours later) I was in the ocean. Finally found some life down the beach. A ton of shorts and three keepers was the tally for the day.

Before I knew it it was after five and I knew we had a long wet ride back. The wind was now howling in the bay and we launched out of Keyport so we had a long wet ride back.

My opinion, the day sucked, however my two friends had a blast with the shorts and occasional keeper. We all laughed our asses off while getting pounded by spray on the way in.

Great time with very old friends! Will be at it again soon
