Default Spring black sea bass fishing may open 4 days earlier

The National Marine Fisheries Service is proposing opening the black sea bass fishery on May 15 rather than the 19th. It is taking public comments. See http://www.examiner.com/article/blac...rlier-this-may

It would be nice if they would try to dovetail the end of fluke season with the start of Fall sea bass.
Last season the regs were really screwy, like for the first 6 days in Sept. you could take 15 and then it went to zero until mid October. Totally useless to most people and the 15 fish bag was while fluke was still open. We could use that quota AFTER fluke shuts down for the year.
