Rob,
I am extremely jealous of how often you go fishing. Does your gf ever complain to you? Haha! A wise fisherman once told me: "A good fisherman makes time to fish." It's definitely true. Happy Thanksgiving bro and keep up the great work!

Some people are devoted with an extreme passion to fish and it becomes almost the most important thing in life to them for the enjoyment they receive from it. Some people have other obligations which are more important such as family or career or what ever and don't get to fish as much because of it and that is okay. You need to do what you need to do. Some people it's kinda just a casual thing that they do sometimes.
I have been married for almost 25 years, my kids are older and pretty much able to take care of them selves and my wife knows my passion for fishing is the force that keeps me going, getting up everyday and doing the grind waiting for the weekend!!!!! If I stayed home and stared at each other all weekend long we would kill each other. She encourages me to go because whether I catch or not she knows I am coming home happy and that makes the time we share together so much better. Don't be jelious Dude Get out when ever you can and make the best of it. Even on days you don't catch you should be learning something.
Fishing is a continual knowledge gaining kind of thing and the more time you put in the more successful you will become,
FIND A WAY TO MAKE THE TIME!!!!!

I can fully admit I am addicted to fishing. I have taken my fair share of crap from the girls I have dated over the passed 10 years lol. Life is too short to be doing something that I don't enjoy, so screw it. The current lady is for the most part tolerable. Getting her onto some topwater Pike from her kayak this summer bought me some time I think haha.

Haha.....well I am lucky at least my gf likes fishing, She caught a five pound bass this year and a 30 inch pike. We are moving to Montville next week. I already told her how much I will be exploring that section of the river looking for pike! It's all good. I get out a good amount. But skunk takes the cake!! Lol
