Default After Work Sessions

It's been a good week. 2 PB's

I got a call Tuesday from my buddy Mr X asking if I want to hit a local private hole after work for a couple hours. We got on the spot and immediately got into some quality LM’s. After working the spot this beast inhaled a Zoom Super Fluke slow jigged over a rock pile. Larry went 6.3 lbs on the Berkely scale and taped out to 24”.

Then on Thursday Skunk City and I start texting back and forth on a plan to escape our jobs early and drop the Mugger in either LH or GWL. Looking at the wind reports, I put my tail between my legs and opted to avoid the extra drive time and spend $ on ramp fees and made the call to wash some baits in Skunksville. I then consulted a well-respected Walleye sharpie for some confidence boosting and soon after we had a third joining the evening’s trip. 3 dudes on the 14’ Mugger vertical jigging the hell outta Skunksville, the sun went down, the wind disappeared, the moon came up, and I hooked up with this girl. 25 ½”.

Soon after, our BDay buddy is on his phone and tells the dude to hold on a minute, I gotta reel in this fish. 18 1/2"

Then Skunk City avoided the skunk at Skunksville with a rock bass.

Bring on the 3 day weekend!

Yeahhh boyyy!!!

I wish I recorded Scott's Walleye fight. The way this thing peeled line, we were certain it was a Muskie. Even after getting her boatside, she made 3 or 4 more runs before a nice net job by the birthday boy. I'm sure anyone within a 10 mile radius heard us yelling lol. Thick fish with big shoulders, been feeding VERY well.
