FISH STIX - Friday - Sunday Fluke Reports
Friday 8/8 We had Susie's charter with her daughter Vicky her husband Jack and Vicky's brother Donny out for fluke. Well they wanted to leave the dock around 7:30am or so. Well we started off local to get them warmed up then went to the sticky icky. By the time we moved north, they said they had waxing appointments at 2pm. LOL. Fished till 1pm. Finished up with only 3 keepers and a dozen shorts for the short trip. Sorry no pics.
Saturday 8/9 JCSA Fluke Tournament with Bruce's charter of 4 man crew. Moral of the day is that we scratched out their 4 man limit of 20 keepers and had one to weigh in that was just off the leader board at 7.8lbs.   Sunday 8/10 we had Ed Schrimpes charter of 6. Gotta start off by saying they were a great crew today. Some real nice guys and they were some fisherman. Didn't take breaks or anything. They fished all day like savages. Loads of life today. Caught a lot of shorts and had more bites then you could count. But at days end they only managed 14 keepers for their efforts at the rail.  OPEN BOAT THURSDAY & FRIDAY. Capt Kris
