Capt,

Probably a little bit of both. I just spent a week in Quepos fishing like a mad man. Sun up to Sun down. Couple that with 3 kids who are obsessed with animals of all kinds and that is the answer!

As for joining you next year...OK!! Are you running an operation down there? If so, where? I fell in Love with the area, the people the fish, the food..... Fantastic place!!

I was testing a proto-type travel rod design for an unnamed company and also the Loomis Escape 3 piece.... At the same time posting food reviews (I am a Chef, for HUGE multi-national) so was searching for new food concepts to develop..... What a trip!! The rooster was not my largest of the trip, but I love the photo and the snook is just at 40lb (note I am 6' 270 for the naysayers out there!)Click image for larger version
