Was on the water at 6:00am with a temp of 46 degrees. Seemed like it was gonna be a slammer day. Took a while for the first one, Hybrid, pulled the hook at boatside. Not a bad one but that's fishing. Then it seemed like forever before the next bite, Nice 29inch Pike. Ran around for a while looking for fish only to end up where I started and that's where I picked up the smallie. Still NO HYBRIDS!!! PHIL AND TOM had five and I had ZERO!!!
As the day turned to night and Phil layin on the RAZ, FINALLY I delivered, DOUBLE HEADER!!! Landed both weighing 5lbs. and 5.2!!! YES I DELIVERED THE GOODS AND MAINTAINED MY REP!!!!! MAYBE NEXT TIME PHIL!!!!! NOT!!!!! Anyway always a blast with Tom and Phil and thanks for keeping me going, next time I fish 14hrs i'll bring more gas!!!LOL Here's a few pic's too. Tired, going to bed.

It's all a pissing match..... Isn't it? Good seeing ya Dale and I'm glad we located some feeding fish to save your day!!! (and a little fuel to get you back to the ramp haha) We're toying with techniques, but fish are still gettin in the boat. I have a hard time picturing "downs and outs" without a bunch of headaches and tangles, but it might be worth a go, at least once. Hooking up a remote to the troller- $$$
- would help avoid some problems. I've been switchin seats with Phil to keep the lines tight and boat on track, but I think one of us is gonna end up in the drink sooner or later.

Great day Dale, that last spot shore did save the day for both of us. It was fun watching you through the binoculars get that double header and I was cheering you on. Good day and good fun.

PROVOLONE!!!! Yea I was sweating it out but determined NOT TO SKUNK!
No pun intended Skunk!!! LOL UNfortunetly totally unprepared for a night bite. No stern light, no flashlight, NO GAS!!! If I had em' I'd probably would have fished a little longer! The gas issue was due to running the outboard for about 13 of the 14 hours on the water non stop on three gallons! LOL Couldn't have asked for a better time fishing with Tom and Phil and already looking forward to the next time! We hit it again today and what a difference a day makes.........
