Default what a season

Its three thirty tuesday morning and i should be at the dock shaping up instead of sitting at my puter. This weather pattern we are stuck in is a killer. every day is a repeat of the day before,SOUTH WIND TEN TO FIFTEEN GUSTS TO TWENTY,4 TO 7 FOOT.iF your favorite capt.seems to be canceling you often,be thankful he is more concerned with your safety rather than his bottom line at the end of the season.Every capt. i know realizes this is supposed to be fun,not an endurance test.We are not going to beat you up to make a couple of bucks.I for one plan on remaining at the dock until conditions warrent sailing. My wife is really rooting for some nw wind,i am not the nicest guy to be around when the boat is tied to the dock.Hang in there guys its got to turn around, stay well all. By far oceanside this has been the worst spring ever. The south winds have been relentless, as well as the heavy south heave chilling the waters down.
even when we are SUPPOSED to get a NW or W wind it seems most afternoons someone turns the S wind switch on high.
Had to cancel more trips this spring, than I did in the last 7 years combined.

Sure hope the fall blackfish weather is ALOT better than it has been

Couldn't wait for this week as it is my first week off...then this mess of a forecast. Now I am stuck at home w/ the kids and the wife It's more expensive staying home than going fishing if that is possible.

We broke records for rain in June...and then the constant south wind has made things nuts. Flunking has been off but did really well with seabass and ling so far. No stripers or blues either. I have yet to even try crabbing either.
