I would kind of doubt it with 39 degree water temp. Friend of mine was out 2 days ago and didn't have a bite..........

Water is still too cold. Was all over the Shrews & Navesink yesterday for both bass and flatties, no luck!

We found a fair percentage were spawned out so they should be feeding.

I fished south in barnegat bay this past weekend, nine fish caught one was throwback size, only keeping our limit of course. If your in the right spot you will find them. Water at it's warmest was 40.4 degrees. The day before my friends went out they got two and their buddy's boat got two. Shallow water, heavy chum.

Rented a putt putt and fisheda all over from 3 - 12 ft and not a touch. Heavy chum 2 boats searching all over no bites. Water is very cold. Of all the boats rented at oceanic in the navesink - only 1 small flounder was reported by the guys at the marina.
