Christmas " Bows "

First day of Dec troutin' , slow for the first two hours , tried to cover every decent looking piece of water I could .
Went fishless until the last big run , then picked up two for three hits, they were both nice bows 17"'& 20.5" respectively !
The walk back upstream was a long one so I worked couple more decent runs that did not produce on downstream run.
Another miss & one small bow about 15" !
Tough start,
decent ending , this is good winter fishing in 40 degree water!
All fish on plugs , only one light hit on metal , water dropping , clear , very fishable .
I modified all my plugs took off belly treble, using only tail hook, very easy to release now !
Fish bit well considering water temps.
