Millstone- Raritan river 7/18:

I started out at the Weston Causway dam, I got a smallmouth and a small striper there on jigs, moved upstream to the next dam and got a nice smallmouth in a shallow run on a large plug. I did a few throws at both spots in the slow water trying to scare up a pike, nothin' doing.
Went to the falls on the Raritan and walked right out. I did a bunch of throws all around the falls, and below the falls and never got a hit.
I did a salvo mission on the big tree in the middle of the Raritan and only found a small jig, I guess someone picked it clean already. I saw alot of baitfish at all locations. Can't wait for all the dams to come down on both the Millstone and Raritan rivers.
