Rhode Island record Tog !
Big news from the water: We have a new tautog state record!
Vladimir V. of New Jersey shattered the state record on November 9 when he hauled in this monster tog, weighing in at 23 lbs 15.12 oz and 33 inches long, from Newport’s coastal waters while fishing aboard a Tall Tailz Charter vessel. This catch officially overtakes the previous 2024 record of 22 lbs 5.28 oz (also 33 inches).
