Well I don't know how they did it but they managed to take out what was a seemingly endless amount of golf balls out of the river. 2 letters were written and one of the golf courses seemed very eager to clean up the mess. I was quite surprised when I did a clean up on the North branch the other day that there were NO golf balls where the Lamington meets the N Branch. I didn't see any golf balls today, last year I saw hundreds !
Now onto the Brown trout from today, yes I was surprised. Looked like a fresh hatchery fish, worn tail, nub fins. Looks like the stocked trout I see in New York. I know one of the golf courses had mentioned doing stream restoration work, was stocking trout part of the equation ? I guess things are looking up for the Lamington, water was 66* this morning.
Picked a tick off me crawling up my leg while typing this.

That same club stocked big rainbows, but not browns, or none until sometime this month, I don't know about the second stocking.
