Mad gaffer Saturday July 2 bottom fish report

I went south this morning, which was the wrong way, it was very windy, and we were fishing for fluke, but put some jumbo sea bass in the boat and a few short fluke, I turned around and rode 10 miles in the other direction, and it paid off we had probably near boat limit of jumbo porgies, And the limit of Sea Bass. If you wanted your limit in porgies, You could easily obtain it . We made our marks on the railings above the legal inch limit so that we would have bigger fish , and we still filled the coolers with nice big fish along with some jumbo Sea Bass . We have not had lights out porgy fishing like that in a couple of years. Tomorrow they're calling for less wind, and I hope to duplicate that, and if it's as good , We will have plenty of time to try for some big fluke too. We have an open boat, tomorrow , and plenty of room . call for information and reservations
