Party Boat Angler Tuesday report

It was nice leaving the dock at 7:00 Am with a bunch of Angler regulars. I wasn't sure on where I was starting as there was no breeze and it was just the start of the ebb tide. When I was passing a buoy where I like to fish and saw some current I swung the boat around for the first drift. We banged away at some shorts and nice keepers having our best drift of the day. There wasn't much current and the drift was slow. Half way through it a light breeze from the south came up and killed the drift. Bounced around catching mostly shorts with a few keepers. The lack of drift killed us as I found some nice keepers but it took a while between fish as we weren't covering the ground. It got hot until the SE breeze picked up. Tomorrows forecast is for much more breeze and from the right direction with an ebb tide. Bill Gilleran from Bridgewater had a couple of keepers with the pool fish of 6 to 7 pounds. High Hook today had 4 nice keepers.
