its open all winter, but theres no dock so you have to dirt launch, no problem w knee high boots, just make sure you dont mind a scratch from beaching the boat. Lees is open til 2nd weekend in december usually. Personally I think 20 to launch is ridiculous, but a good alternative is a 10 pack pass that is around 130 bucks. first launch is free so u end up w 11 launches, and it never expires. I still have 3 launches left on mine from april 2012

don't quote me on this but i think a year long pass for the state park launch is only 60 bucks. only draw back is during the park season it's packed on weekends and has an open and close time. spring and fall though it's open 24/7 and not many people there.

other option that i use is if you have a kayak or car top metal jon boat like me there are a few free places to get the boat in the water.

I launched there Sunday...free and no issues.

The dock is still there as of today. Just left there. Catch em up!!!

It's def not free at the state park at any time unless that's new this year... They stopped me from putting the kayak in there from the beach and wanted 12 bucks last off season. Not even using the ramp.
