My father, age 77, who has been an avid hunter and fisherman his entire life, is suffering from rapidly progressing dementia. In June, I went home to Michigan and my brother, brother-in-law, nephew and myself took him out on Lake Erie walleye fishing one last time. As I told my Mom, he may not remember it 3 months from now, but I'll never forget.
