I've caught Crappie on lots of bigger, non-Crappie lures and jigs. They're pretty voracious. Cool picture.

Not a split shot. Its a plastic bead. I was using a barrel swivel and I did not want to accidentally pull it back through my pole eyes (they take the plastic off the inside of the eyes)
