Striped Bass Bonus Tag Program
The October 31 application deadline for the Striped Bass Bonus Program (SBBP) is quickly approaching. Go to the SBBP webpage https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2...Xj-Ke0dg32E&e= now to apply for your 2017 permit and for more information. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing due to the high volume of applications.
Used to be the bonus tag was used to harvest an additional larger fish, which I always thought was foolish... The larger fish are usually females and can produce a lot more eggs and the smaller ones are better for the table and more plentiful.
