Looking to broaden my fishing knowledge and actually target some other species. Avid bass fisherman and 99% of the time that's what I'm out for. I'd like to dedicate some outings for walleye. Of course the northern nj lakes/reservoirs they are stocked but as far as setups, techniques, lures I'm looking for advice and suggestions. Even trolling I'm open to just don't know where to start. Not looking for secret spots just advice and suggestions. Thanks all!!!

Throw away all of your bass knowledge. Buy a headlamp with crazy lumens. Prepare to fish like mad from 11 pm till 4 am. Cast till your arms fall off. Fish with your ears. Check nj fish & game site for lakes and rivers with walleye. Fish slow and systematic.
The struggle is real. Many of us are walleye vampires. Use at least 20 lb braid and good leader material. Mind your duo lock clips. By catch can straighten it out. Post pics and tell us where you're fishing.
