I tie my own rigs and recently when tying my dropper loops some how I keep getting either kinks in the loop or the loop basically turns into a slip knot. can anyone help with why this might be happening. its driving me crazy. It does not seem to matter what pound line im using it just keeps happening

Pull the tag ends to the side not down

If it starts to slip put your fingers inside the loop and pull it back out and then pull the ends again. That seems to fix it most times

Hang the loop on something to pull it tight as you cinch the knot.

I usually hook it around my front teeth without actually biting down on the line when I pull it tight. Also help the knot cinch with your thumb nails so you dont stretch the line inside the knot.

when twisting the knot, make sure your twisting towards you and not away from you. Makes a big difference.
