Default rising Sun

Hit the lake today from 830 til 130. I had 4 bass. My step dad finally broke the skunk with 6 bass and a pickerel. He was pretty happy. Shiners where def the hot bait. Bite was hot in the morning and cooled off later in the day. First time there. Its beautiful. Only two other boats out. Most bass 12 and a half. pickerel 17

Good to hear you had some success. Always a bonus on a new body of water. ...Nicely Done.

Looking to check that place out myself this year as well. Any luck using artificials or did you only fish live bait?
