Default Croaker

A friend has been catching croakers in the bay like crazy.
Question is are the edible and what is the best way to prepare.

The jumbos (14 - 15") we catch at the end of August in Delaware fillet real nice.

I agree with this for croakers. There are a lot of bones but just like a porgy you have to pick around them and enjoy it.
