Default Slow Sunday on the Dirty Shrimp

Finally got the dirty c man out on his half of the boat. The fishing was anything but good. Tried all over, from down the beach, to the knoll, the sandy hook channel and into the reach. Doug and I had one keeper each, but Doug's got him the yo dollar dollar. Doug had 5/6 shorts while I only had two. Not a good season for the D.S. so far! I truly think this weather pattern has to change for things to improve, but I'll keep tryin! With the fishing being poor at least it was a nice day on the water. Launched early and beat the storms in. Boat ran well and no mishaps. I guess in the end, that's a good day of fishin.

Dont feel bad. Sounds like my day. Fished from buoy 10 in the reach all the way back to the triangle and it was like a cemetary.Maybe 10 fish with one nice keeper. I hate the incoming tide with a south wind.

You guys sure have put in your time and got a lot of use out of the boat. Not sure where you get all the energy but I'd like to borrow some.

The weather for the whole month of June has sucked... It seems like if it wasn't rain, it's been thunderstorms or hard south winds... We certainly could use a break
