river bass
i caught this big bass about a week ago while trout fishing in the Rockaway. surprise! i didn't measure it or anything but i'm guessing 5 to 6 pounds. one of the biggest bass i've ever caught. its a bit hard to judge the size in the pic but solo with cell phone cam on rocky shore is tricky for pics so i set it down on the rock in front of me. i've caught plenty of smallies and a big pickerel in the rockaway before but this is my first largemouth.
