Pequest was COOOOOOLD today!

Snuck up at daybreak to "catch the early morning action" as my friend Chris put it.

Yeah.

Right.

At the hatchery the only early morning action we had was clearing our guides from non stop ice every third cast!

Saw a few caught in the usual places......one guy showed us pics on his Iphone of a monster brown he said he caught that morning. I pulled out my Iphone and showed him pics of a 45 pound striper I "caught that morning" as well. Mine was bigger so I win. Silly wabbit!

Anyways.....did the hatchery flea market...bleh.....nothing special. Made it to Hotdog Johnnies and stopped at a few of our usual spots on the Spruce to count how many trout we could see in the pools we fish. Then home to nap.

Fishing in Hawaii is MUCH more fun this time of year..........................

I was out this morning up near wawayanda at a spillway...it was cold...and I did just as well as you...NADA!!! But...better than being inside all day...
