Ran down to the 2nd 287 crossing and got about 7 or 8 small stripers and a white perch. They fight real good, all fish released.

Nice white perch Andy! The one I caught the other day was 3/4 pound, and I filleted it and fried it up. It was delicious! I like eating fish and never had a white perch before...it was great. I gotta get down to the raritan and give it a shot...too many guys doing great for me not to try it!

I would love to catch sea run brown trout in the Raritan, but until they stop dumping 15,000 a year in the Manasquan, I guess I'll just have to wait.

Never caught a white perch very cool. I'd like to catch few of those Raritan River Stripers too. I did not know they came up that far in their. Nice job.
